Welcome to the Borough of Runnemede!
Runnemede was incorporated as a borough by an Act of the New Jersey Legislature on March 23, 1926. As of the Census of 2000, there were 8,533 people, 3,376 households and 2,275 families residing in the borough.
TAX PAYMENT WINDOW
In order to better serve our residents, the Borough has installed a tax payment window in the police lobby. You will be able to access this window from the door directly facing the parking lot. This window will be open during the first ten days of the tax due date period only. Hours of operation will be from 9:00 AM until 12 noon, closed for lunch, and again from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM. NO CASH, ONLY CHECKS WILL BE ACCEPTED AT THIS WINDOW. Any other transactions will still be handled in the front office.
BOROUGH OF RUNNEMEDE REASSESSMENT PROGRAM
Mayor & Council have authorized a municipal wide reassessment of all properties located in the borough. You will also be receiving the attached information by mail. Please note that a public meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at 5:00 PM at the Municipal Building to answer any questions you may have.
